Setup WooCommerce Payments

Update the doc for AMs as needed, so that you get all information ahead of time.

  1. WooCommerce > Settings > Payments
  2. Install WooPayments
  3. Click Manage then Activate Payments
  4. Accepted Payment Types 
  5. Add Company Type/Legal Entity Type 
  6. Add Company Category/Legal Entity Category 
  7. Add What type of goods or services does your business sell? (multiple category types)
  8. Enter email for Stripe account and a mobile number for verification
  9. Legal Business Name
  10. Legal Owner Information (may ask for the actual full SSN) 
  11. Enter Bank Info – either bank name with login credentials or routing and account numbers 
  12. Setup Shipping >
  13. Setup Taxes >
  14. Setup Notifications
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Emails
    • Be sure emails are sent to the correct client email
    • Be sure "From Name" and "From Email" are correct
    • Customize Email Template as needed
